Inspiration

This tie is a tribute to a story that our father told us when we were girls. A story of his own invention that he used to teach us how to swim in the pool.

We, 4/7 year old tadpoles, were that "juanito" fish, a fish that a circus owner discovered while talking to a crustacean.

...upon seeing Juanito, the owner was captivated by such exquisite skills and decided that this fish had to go on tour with his circus. It was a fish with extraordinary qualities... it was a fish that could talk! A fish that talked!! Incredible, he thought.

And Juanito agreed to travel with the circus, demonstrating his skills to everyone who came to see him, while he jumped through a hoop doing pirouettes and his audience cheered and applauded excitedly at seeing such a similar and rare specimen...

All this happened while our father acted as a circus presenter, he put his arms in the shape of a hoop, and we, the "juanitos" fish, swam towards him to sneak through the hoop as if we were in the circus. Afterwards, we heard the applause and cheers. It was my father shouting "let me talk, let me talk" and so, we all enjoyed ourselves in the pool, looking for new pirouettes every day with which to amaze our audience who shouted excitedly that they wanted to see the "juanito fish".

Without a doubt , the Juanito fish has marked our lives. Because of the way we had fun in the pool, splashing around, going through the hoop and doing somersaults like real fish in the water.
