Pitas, Pitas Pajaritas is an online store of bow ties for men that started back in 2015.

One day we woke up wanting to try new things and create a unique product that we could sell online.

And well, after years of trial and error and many, many hours behind us...

Today we can see that we have found our niche by offering fun, original and geeky accessories, where we project our passions, our hobbies and concerns.

Because we believe in accessories with personality. With a unique and different style.

Accessories carefully designed. It is logical, if we think that they will be used at weddings, events and galas, where we all want to look good, handsome, sexy, daring, fun and above all different.

Because on those occasions, magic plays an important role. The magic you will feel the moment you try a Pitas, Pitas and look at yourself in the mirror. At that moment, your lips will smile and you will know that you have found your perfect match.

Furthermore, we believe in the circular economy, and we want to do our bit to not destroy the planet…

That's why we decided to manufacture locally and 100% by hand (even if the costs are a bit higher) . We use our own hands and those of others to make and deliver these works of art to your home.

Because yes, we are Spanish, born in Madrid in the 80s (and I won't say any more) and yes, we manufacture in Spain. Everything, the entire production chain: from the design of fabrics, printing on fabric, confection, distribution, etc. everything is made in Spain.

Considering that our accessories are exclusive and unique, we had to make sure that you wouldn't find another one like it, or at least reduce the possibilities to a minimum.

That's why we don't produce more than 50 identical items , this way we guarantee that if you go to a wedding or event, only you will wear an accessory that will cause a sensation (or with very bad luck, only 49 other people in the whole world)

We are very demanding with the craftsmanship, that is why the seamstresses work meticulously on each bow tie and do not hesitate to repeat any stitching. However, as it is a handmade work, each bow tie or tie will always be different from the previous one, and each model, the one that will arrive at your home, is impossible to replicate.

Once upon a time...

Come on, let's get straight to the point, this is going to be done step by step. This is the process we follow and everything that goes through our heads and our hands before you see your Pitas, Pitas Pajaritas on our website.

We start at the beginning;

Phase I. Design and printing of fabric or falling in love with one already produced

• If we fall in love with some original, fun and quality fabric, we bought it.

• And if we're not thrilled, we'll design them ourselves. Look for bow ties with Exclusive design by Pitas, Pitas Pajaritas to know what they are and where we got our inspiration from.

Phase II. The materials

• We print the fabrics with our designs . Here in "Spain" (specifically in Seville)

• Or we import them from England, Northern Europe, the United States, Asia or from anywhere in the world if we have felt the crush.

Phase III. Making the geeky bow ties

• When the fabrics "arrive", we send them to a local atelier (in the Lleida area) where seamstresses lovingly make each bow tie or tie for us and put our label on it. They are artisans and artists, of course.

Phase IV. Arrival and quality control

• Once finished, all the new merchandise is sent to Madrid. If you want to know what the new ones are, take a look at the new collection bow ties.

• When they arrive, it's like Christmas . We open the box, with teary eyes, and we check each one to see if it meets the quality standards: neck length, knot finish, interlining selected, fabrics, stitches, trims, etc. And if it does, we move on to the next phase:

Phase V. The photocall and the photoshop

• We spent a whole day taking some nice, clean photos, where only the beauty of this unique and special bow tie can be appreciated.

• We edit the photos, upload them to the web and let you fall in love with them.
