🔥 Bow ties for men | Rockabilly look
Share
When we were creating this post, suddenly, flash! The light bulb went on and we decided that we had to write a post for those of you who are looking for a more rock look and want to complete it with a bow tie.
First of all, what is a rockabilly look?
Well, you can read the whole story on Wikipedia, so we'll save you the hassle, but we'll leave you the link here because knowledge doesn't take up space .
We could describe this fashion trend with 3 words: Sex, Freedom and Rebellion. 3 concepts that remind us of the 70s where things, well, were seen from a different point of view :)
The dressing style of people who like the look, the rockabillis , contains these elements: black leather jackets (with or without studs) or jeans, black or worn denims, leather boots, hairstyles with a pompadour and hair gel, and on women puffy dresses with tutu, peep toe shoes and flared skirts, typical of pop culture.
And since an image is worth more than the 200 words we just gave you, here we leave you the idea :)
And here's an infographic that's a bit cliché but helps to give you an idea of the style we want to achieve.
And now we are going to create a
Rockabilly men's look with bow tie
Let's start with some options regarding the design or drawing of the bow tie, taking into account that you already have the jeans, the jacket and the gel in your possession.
The first look, give it a naughty touch with a skull bow tie
The bones, the skulls, the black on white is basic if you want to achieve a style like this.
Therefore, one of the easy combinations is to combine a leather jacket with a white shirt and a skull bow tie that gives it that rogue and daring touch.
Skulls, an element that although it has its dodgy connotations, fashion has turned it into a must of elegance, class and style and there is no self-respecting wardrobe that does not have a skull among its belongings.
Thanks to brands and designers like Philipp Plein and also somewhat more affordable garments such as those from the Scalpers brand, today we can find skulls everywhere, and I won't even tell you if you go into more gothic clothing brands :).

Rockabilly look with plain black bow tie

- If the tattoos are yours, the better. These dodgy stockings that they put on their arms imitating tattoos make us sick, and they are also very hot.
- If your bow tie and suspenders are plain and black , the look will win.
- The light shirt, white more specifically, if you are going to combine it with a plain black bow tie.
- Sunglasses help build that rocker look that we are looking for, therefore they are a yes.
- Beard, this depends on you, but if you want to innovate, try growing a beard for a few days (kind of careless, but not).
- The hat. Skip it. It is what we like least and fits us least in the previous image.
