[Updated] Bow ties for weddings between January and March

Weddings between January and March, an occasion to stand out.
Hey! How are you? We assume that you are looking for ideas for the wedding you have in the next 3 months.
Well, first of all, winter weddings have many pros. Especially in men's fashion.
At this time of year, clothes and fabrics are not in excess. That's why thick, warm suits, vests, sweaters and shirts won't make you sweat profusely and you'll have more possibilities for combinations than if it were in summer.
In addition, you can combine neutral colors, which we do not recommend in spring weddings, such as black, brown or dark gray.
Well, to the mess.
Costume ideas for a winter wedding with a bow tie
The first, a total black look.
If you can wear this outfit, it's now. When the temperature rises above 20 degrees, avoid black. But now, at this time, dark tones combine wonderfully with the landscape and gray days.
Pros of this look, it is super simple. It couldn't be easier. It is about combining all the elements of the same color. For example, a black suit with a black shirt, belt and shoes or, if you want a more sporty look but following the "total look" concept, do it with black jeans, a leather jacket, black sneakers and a black shirt.
Here the only thing that will stand out (or not) is your bow tie.
That you can choose whether to also dress it in black and not give any touch of color to your outfit, other than the color of your skin and if you are wearing any jewelry. Or highlight and contrast your bow tie with the black of your total look.
We are going to leave you a couple of examples so you can see with your own eyes what we are talking about.
Option A - With the bow tie also in black
Option B - With the bow tie in another color
As you will see, it is simple. Combine elements of the same color (although in different textures and fabrics) and choose if you want your bow tie to stand out or go unnoticed.
And be careful, this look is applicable to any color, for example, gray.
In this image, you can see that the shades of gray are milky. That's why we share it, because it is important that if you opt for this style, for a total look of one color, you combine it as it should (and not like that).
The second, the checkered bow tie
And more specifically, this era is characterized by being the only one where a Scottish bow tie never hurts . Then, as we get dangerously close to summer, the paintings take a backseat so that the topos (dots) take the lead instead.
Straight to the point. Checkered bow ties, this is another of the options we give you.
And since it is normal for checks to have various shades (including Scottish checks), what we recommend to be on the safe side is that you always choose a white shirt.
Let's see, you can combine it gracefully with printed shirts, but this is a very pro level that we only recommend to "advanced" bow tie users :)
In any case, and as before, we are going to give you several ideas so that you can see which one you like the most, and you can dare to wear that checkered bow tie that you always wanted to wear. It's now or never.
As you can see, the squares can be worn in a formal look, with a suit, shirt and even a cummerbund, or with a very informal look with jeans and suspenders (by the way, in the last image... the suspenders, always without a belt for favoooor) Which one do you like the most? Which is the most appropriate for the wedding you have in a few days?
The third, the corduroy.
It happens to corduroy like it does to paintings. Which is now or never.
This type of fabric, very characteristic due to its thickness and vertical lines, is one of the few occasions when you can wear it without fear of looking like an out-of-date (and somewhat scattered) boy.
The corduroy, and the elbow pads, if you hurry us, are two great elements that you can only wear at winter weddings.
Choose whether to include it on a jacket or on the bow tie. You decide where you want to go warmer, we show you some examples so you can get an idea of how good it feels if you want to give a more casual touch to your look.
In our personal opinion, this style seems brutal to us. But of course, you can't combine it with a dress suit, keep that in mind.
The last one, the cardigans
A must for the winter season.
Knitted sports jackets or dress suits can be herringbone, gayo, striped, checkered, etc. They are a yes I want at winter weddings.
Obviously, due to its texture, it is not a piece that we can wear at any other time of the year.
As for combinations, it will depend on the design of your jacket or suit. As always, the more elements (for example, a gayo's paw print), the more simplicity in the rest of the combination. It's a matter of balancing the look well so as not to look overloaded or too simple. If you overdo one element, try to compensate with the next, it is a very easy rule to follow to avoid skidding with our combinations.
And we would be up to here :)
