Open or knotted bow ties, what's the difference?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing a knotted bow tie versus an open bow tie?
The first thing is to know which is which;
- The knotted bow tie are those that we already buy ready-made. They normally include an adjustable neck but there are also clip-on ones.
- The open bow tie is one that you have to tie to the collar of the shirt just as you would do with a tie. At pitas, pitas we do not yet have this modality, but we hope that in less than a month we will also be able to offer you our collection of open bow ties :)
Knowing this, and taking into account that choosing one model or another depends on your ability , we are going to try to argue the advantages and disadvantages of each of the bow tie models.
Pros of the Knotted Bow Tie Versus Open Bow Tie
- You don't spend time tying it.
- You will always carry the knot horizontally with respect to your shoulders.
- They are great for those who are less skilled, or for children, babies or pets, where no matter how much skill we have, we will not have time to be a perfectionist.
Cons of the Knotted Bow Tie Versus Open Bow Tie
- Just like ties ( which you can also buy ready-made), it may take away some of the mystery and personalization of the issue, as you cannot mold them to your liking.
- As it does not include collar clasps, this model is usually somewhat cheaper than the knotted model.
- In addition, you may find reversible models, that is, with one side of a fabric and the back with another. A very simple way to have a 2x1 in bow ties :)
